• Contact insurance company
• Discuss policy terms and conditions
• Discuss policy treatment coverage limits
• Discuss policy excess (if applicable)
• Obtain pre-authorisation / claim number
• Forward health insurance membership number and pre-authorisation / claim number to Practice staff
