The Hampstead Physiotherapy Practice has provided private treatment for over 35 years. All our Practitioners are Members of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy and registered with the Health & Care Professions Council. None have fewer than five years of experience.

Physiotherapy treats a range of neuromuscular and joint conditions and aims to reduce pain and promote tissue repair by optimising the body’s natural healing mechanisms.

Our musculoskeletal physiotherapists thoroughly assess each patients’ condition and tailor treatments to each individual’s needs. We specialise in “hands on” manual treatment and exercise prescription to promote, maintain and restore well being.

We can treat a wide range of acute and chronic spinal (i.e. neck and back) and peripheral (i.e. shoulder, elbow, wrist, hand, hip, knee, ankle and foot) conditions as well as post operative rehabilitation.

Neurophysiotherapy

Neurophysiotherapy is a branch of physiotherapy which specialises in treating physical problems related to damage of the nervous system which include the brain, spinal cord and peripheral nerves. Examples of neurological conditions treated include stroke, brain injury, multiple sclerosis and Parkinson’s disease.
