NEUROPHYSIOTHERAPY
Neurophysiotherapy is a branch of physiotherapy which specialises in treating physical problems related to damage of the nervous system which include the brain, spinal cord and peripheral nerves. Examples of neurological conditions treated include stroke, brain injury, multiple sclerosis and Parkinson's disease. The Hampstead Physiotherapy Practice offers a specialist neurology service with experienced Chartered Physiotherapists, Joanne Tuckey, Penny Brown and Ulrike Hammerbeck. Treatments may be based in the patient's home, gym or local community. Our service aims to meet the specific physical needs and targets of each patient to maximise functional independence. INSURANCE INFORMATION The Hampstead Physiotherapy Practice operates as a private practice providing treatment for self paying patients as well as patients with private health insurance. Our Practitioners are registered and recognised by all major UK health insurance companies. If you have private health insurance, it is advised that you contact your insurance company to review the terms and conditions of your policy prior to a course of treatment. After you have confirmed physiotherapy treatment with your health insurance company, you have two options. You may either settle the treatment personally and claim back from your insurance company or we can invoice your health insurance company directly. CANCELLATION POLICY Patients who wish to cancel or change an appointment are kindly requested to provide 24 hours notice to avoid full charges. We reserve the right to make a full charge for each missed appointment, late cancellation or changes without a 24 hour notice period.
