ULRIKE HAMMERBECK Ulrike qualified in 1995 with a BPhysT from the University of Pretoria, South Africa. She specialised in neurological physiotherapy and has worked in South Africa, the UK and Germany in a wide variety of rehabilition settings.
Ulrike has worked as a senior neurological physiotherapist at King's College hospital for seven years and obtained her MSc in Advance Physiotherapy from University College London in 2006. Since 2006 she has taken up a research post at the Institute of Neurology, University College Hospital where she is conducting her PhD, investigating rehabilitation strategies for stroke patients. Ulrike joined The Hampstead Physiotherapy Practice on a part time basis in 2009.
