Jodi Hurwitz qualified in 2000 with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from the University of Cape Town, South Africa.  She then moved to the UK to gain experience in the National Health Service (NHS) where she worked until 2008 specialising in musculoskeletal conditions and sports injuries.  As a senior physiotherapist, Jodi also ran the hand therapy service, gaining experience in the treatment and splinting of hand conditions.  She has spent the last 3 years gaining experience in private practice.

Jodi completed her Masters in Advanced Physiotherapy from the University College London in 2006.

She is a member of the Manipulation Association of Chartered Physiotherapists and the Acupuncture Association of Physiotherapist (AACP).
